THE WARPED COLLECTIVE

Paige is the Co-founder and Company Manager of The Warped Collective.

The Warped Collective; Diverse Makers. Devised Experiences. is an ensemble of multifaceted theatre makers who strive to cultivate an expansive vision of live performance where audiences are delighted and challenged, stimulated and transported, submerged and elevated. They are a creative community that encourages and celebrates a diversity of thought and artistic facility. Born out of the restrictions of a global pandemic, the collective accepts restriction as an opportunity for creative problem solving.

As Co-founder, Paige strived to create a cohesive ensemble that could work together in restriction to push their boundaries as artists and continue to learn together. Paige, along with a few more collaborators, aimed to bring together a group of diverse makers who can create collaborative working environments where individuation is supported, and everyone can thrive within the larger ensemble.

As Company Manager, Paige has continued to facilitate a virtual space for devising and has began safely transitioning the company to in-person. Aside from this transition, Paige's responsibilities have included leading all meetings and rehearsals, enabling efficient communication, along with advocating on behalf of the ensemble. Since assuming the Company Manager title, she has also taken up roles as Director, Producer, and Artistic Director on various productions created by The Warped Collective.
