Loosely based on Shakespeare's 'The Tempest,' The Warped Collective's 'Project Maelstrom, Beta Test' was the first iteration of 'The Maelstrom.' Spanning 10 days, audio/visual content and instructions for in-person experiences in Savannah, Georgia were sent directly to each audience members phone. This adventure is best described as scavenger hunt meets public art meets theater and culminates in a live virtual event. 'Project Maelstrom, Beta Test' addressed themes of perspective, community, contemporary power dynamics, multiverse and individual impact on the world around us.
